Classification

Full-time (40hrs/wk), work days: Mon-Fri (able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed).

Purpose of the Job

To effectively coordinate RWF's HIV prevention program and strengthen the link with RWF partners and beneficiaries.

Essential Job Functions

  • Implementation of field activities in Abuja FCT with a special focus on HIV prevention
  • Working with the program manager to ensure that all the prevention programs are effectively implemented
  • Ensuring that all RWF preventive programs are effectively implemented and that the target beneficiaries are reached
  • Working closely with the M&E officer in ensuring that all activities are carried out and that all deadlines and targets are met
  • Representing RWF at meetings related to the designated project and at meetings with LGA and government representatives in Abuja FCT

General Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Humanities preferred
  • Some work experience in public health, social work, or related field is desirable
  • Ability to consolidate, analyse and interpret information from multiple sources
  • Excellent analytical, writing, and communications skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and a good understanding of the Ibo language
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in areas of responsibility desired
  • Relevant work experience with demonstrated skills in PC applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher), statistical analysis
  • Highly developed interpersonal as well as organizational skills required
  • Must fulfill Criminal background Check
  • Must have excellent verbal communication, written communication
